Accessory Upgrade

Specific Level 140 rings and necklaces can be upgraded to improve their stats. This process goes in stages:

• First accessories can be upgraded at Guardian Tyr in Jadeon to add stars
• Once your accessory is at three stars, it can be crafted into an Essence Ring or Eminence Necklace
• Finally, these items can be upgraded into one of the six Ascension Accessories sets

Dijo, Goko, Xato, Zuro, Windo, and Raino sets can be acquired through Accessory Upgrade. Additionally, there is a set of necklaces that can be upgraded using the Snow Star, which is a reward from the Taichi Pills event.

How to Upgrade: Stars One to Three

Have the ring or necklace in your inventory, then speak to Guardian Tyr in Jadeon. He will have a quest to add 1 star to that item.

Once upgraded, it will be bound to you, and its required level will be lowered by 5 levels for each star.

The success rate is very low, but if you succeed, you'll be rewarded with a much better item. Here are the costs:

How to Obtain Basic Rings

• Elysium Proclamation Level 120+ (Kunlun CVs)
• Might of Heaven and Eminence of Heaven are sometimes additional rewards for 2 of Shura red Dispatcher quests
• Some Bosses drop particular rings, including bosses summoned after completing Fumes event

How to Obtain Basic Necklaces

• Various Lotto from the marketplace
• JD-Mart Auction
• One Welkin Green Jade to exchange at Jade Exchange Girl NPC in Sunstream

How to Upgrade: Stars to Essence/Eminence

Instead of relying on a quest and chance upgrade, moving these accessories past the star stage requires Crafting.

The crafting recipes can be obtained from:

• Star Souls (very low chance)
• JD-Mart auction in Affinity Bead Recipe Pack (contains Recipes for all 6 Ring Essences and the 2 Necklaces)
• Affinity Secret (One random recipe)

The result is guaranteed.

How to Upgrade: Essence/Eminence to Ascension

After reaching Essence or Eminence grade, each item can be upgraded once more into an Ascension Accessory.

Further upgrading is very costly (800G per try) and has a very low chance of succeeding (1%).

To upgrade, take them to Wanyoo in the Ancient Land (Bitter Sea 45, -140). This works for both Human and Athan characters.

The mediums for upgrade are Deity Wills, harvested from Star Souls, or obtained at Jade Exchange Maiden in Sunstream for Sunny Jades.

Essence Rings

• Eminence of Heaven·Essence uses Windo Will → Windo Set Rings
• Grace of Heaven·Essence uses Zuro Will → Zuro Set Rings
• Insight of Heaven·Essence uses Xato Will → Xato Set Rings
• Might of Heaven·Essence uses Raino Will → Raino Set Rings
• Ring of Eloquence·Essence uses Goko Will → Goko Set Rings
• Ring of Ultimate Truth·Essence uses Dijo Will → Dijo Set Rings

How to Upgrade: Ascension to Ancient Blood

These items can be crafted:

• Necklaces require 40 Ancient Blood Seals
• Rings require 20 Ancient Blood Charms or 20 Ancient Blood Jade

Special Necklaces: Snow Star Upgrade

Seven necklaces can be upgraded using the Snow Star necklace. By combining the Snow Star with one of those, a +500 Health bonus is added, giving it the name "Anan's".

To upgrade, bring it along with the Snow Star to Grand Master Tahn in Jadeon (180, 91).

• Necklace of Ascension: Dropped by Shura Bosses and Fumes Event bosses. Elder of Arcaneness has these for Arcane Bullion and Coins
• Necklace of Reckoning: Elder of Arcaneness for Arcane Bullion and Coins
• Overwhelming Dominance: Elder of Arcaneness for Arcane Bullion and Coins
• Dragonwing Necklace: Dropped by Ceaseless Rot boss in Southern Border, Bird of Dystopia in Shura's Palace of Purgatory, and Fumes Event bosses
• Dragon Speed: Dropped by Boss summoned after Fumes Event (True Beast Lord)
• Redeemer's Necklace: Reward for defending Fort Cloudstorm
• Skyseal Necklace: From the JD-Mart
